About
Yosemite Renaissance is an annual juried exhibition of artwork inspired by Yosemite, the Sierra Nevada and surrounding regions. The 42nd edition is open to artists worldwide; works must have been created within the last five years and be original or limited editions.
Accepted media include oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, mixed media, printmaking, photography, digital art, drawing, fibre art, glass, woodworking, jewellery, ceramics and sculpture. Film, video and interactive media are excluded. 2D works may not exceed 30 x 40 inches framed; 3D works may not exceed 72 inches in height.
Entries are submitted online through SmarterEntry ($25 first entry, $15 each for entries 2–4, $10 each for entries 5–8). Notification is in mid-February 2027; the exhibition opens at Yosemite Gateway Art Center, Oakhurst, on 20 March 2027 with a reception on 27 March, then travels to California venues from about May 2027 to February 2028. $4,000 in cash awards is announced at the reception.
