About
The World Illustration Awards (WIA) are presented by the UK-based Association of Illustrators in partnership with the Directory of Illustration (USA). Illustration or projects featuring illustration created since the start of the previous year can be entered as single or multiple entries in a range of categories.
Entrants worldwide choose the New Talent strand (students, recent graduates or self-taught newcomers) or Professional. Entry fees are GBP 34 (single) or GBP 53 (multiple), with early-bird, member and bursary discounts.
Longlisted projects feature in the WIA online showcase; shortlist and winners are announced later in the year and winning work tours internationally for a year.
