About
Artist Karim Boumjimar funds a €500 grant directly from his own earnings, awarded throughout the year to different working-class creatives anywhere in the world who receive little or no institutional support. The money can be used for materials, equipment, rent, research, travel, studio costs or living expenses, with no strings attached and no expectation of anything in return.
Anyone of any nationality, level of expertise and medium may apply. Applications are made by email with a brief introduction, a work sample or description and contact details.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline; they are reviewed periodically and new recipients are selected throughout the year. The funder is a Spanish-Moroccan artist based between Copenhagen, Berlin and London.
