About
The Artists Book Online Residency (TABOR) is a year-long, fully online residency for book artists, running throughout 2027 and led by Hilke Kurzke, Frances Day and Pippa Hennessy. Residents meet online on Thursday evenings (7pm UK time), take part in quarterly programme strands and skill-shares, deliver an outreach activity and produce work for a final online exhibition (theme 'Salt') running 1 November to 31 December 2027.
Applicants must be 18 or over and resident in the UK (exceptions may be argued), have made at least two pieces of book art, and have a stable internet connection, camera and microphone. All career stages are welcome.
There is no tuition fee. Residents receive £300 for producing work for the final exhibition, £150 for delivering an outreach activity, a small payment for leading skill-shares and reimbursement of reasonable costs. Applications are made through CuratorSpace by 15 November 2026.
