About
Soft Water Gallery in Florida invites original fine art celebrating the state's natural world: flora, fauna and scenic vistas. Artists may submit up to three works. Digital photography is excluded except limited-edition hand-printed work such as block prints or etchings; generative AI work is not accepted. Three-dimensional work is allowed if wall-mountable.
Artists must reside in Florida for some portion of the year. Works including frame must be 13 x 16 x 2 inches or smaller. The entry fee is USD 20 and sales are split 50/50 between gallery and artist.
The submission deadline is 15 October (year not printed on the page) with acceptance notices on 20 October, drop-off 28 to 31 October and the exhibition and awards on 7 November, running to 15 November. Prizes are USD 1,500 for first place, USD 750 for second and USD 500 for third.
