About
RuptureXIBIT offers a four-week residency in its 350 sq ft shopfront studio and gallery space in Hampton Wick, London, for visual artists and writers with established practices, applying solo or as small collectives. Residents receive four 90-minute mentoring sessions with Sally Minns and Kate Howe, access to workshops and group critiques, marketing support and an open studio event in the final weekend.
Applicants submit a proposal of up to 500 words, a portfolio of up to 10 images and a statement on how mentoring would benefit their practice. Residents document work in progress weekly for the marketing team. The residency is free, but accommodation, travel and personal expenses are not covered, and RuptureXIBIT takes 20% commission on any resulting sales.
Proposals are accepted on a rolling basis; the listing refers to winter 2025 and spring 2026 slots, so check current availability.
