About
The Royal Hibernian Academy invites artists to propose exhibitions for its Ashford Gallery, a dedicated space in the RHA's Dublin building for artists who do not have current commercial representation on the island of Ireland and have not previously shown in the Ashford Gallery programme. Selected artists receive a roughly four-week exhibition between January and autumn 2027, technical installation and de-installation, curatorial assistance with layout, and transport of work within Ireland. At least 90% of the work must be for sale, with a 35% commission to the RHA; there is no artist or production fee.
Applications for the 2027 programme closed at midnight on 27 April 2026, by email with a single PDF containing a 100-word statement, 600-word proposal, eight images or video links, CV and price ranges. One application per artist; notification in mid-June. The call recurs annually in spring.
