About
Association Esthétique de l'Est invites artists aged 18 and over of any nationality to submit up to three works for QIANKUN 2027, an exhibition exploring gender, identity, the body, culture and the diversity of living beings through the Yin and Yang philosophy of the Yi Jing. The theme is 'Genre : Yin, Yang et les diversités du vivant'.
All practices are accepted, including painting, photography, video, digital art, performance, sound, sculpture and interdisciplinary work; individual artists and collectives, professionals, students and recent graduates may apply. Submissions are sent by email with large files via a file-transfer service.
There is no application fee for the selection phase; participation terms (transport, insurance, customs, installation) are agreed with each selected artist afterwards. Selected artists exhibit at Centre Paris Anim' Jacques Bravo, Paris 9e, from 15 to 27 February 2027 and receive an opening invitation, documentation and a participation certificate.
