About
Ones to Watch is Sunny Bank Mills' annual exhibition for emerging artists, now in its 13th year. It is open to artists, makers, designers and creatives who are Yorkshire-born or currently Yorkshire-based, aged 16 or over, with very limited exhibiting experience or returning to practice after a break.
All disciplines are welcome, including painting, sculpture, jewellery, ceramics, film, sound, text, glass, metal, performance, wood and furniture. Application via CuratorSpace is free and there are no exhibition fees; artists are not paid to exhibit.
The exhibition runs 9 January to 28 March 2027 with a launch on 8 January. Benefits include commercial and accessibility support, networking and opportunities to run workshops and perform; a Visitor's Choice Award offers a three-month studio residency.
