About
Cupola Contemporary Art in Sheffield invites submissions for Merry Making, a winter exhibition celebrating the joy that making brings to artists. Work may interpret the theme literally or abstractly, and the gallery welcomes both exhibition-scale pieces and smaller affordable gift items for the festive season.
Eligible media include painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery, glass, photography, printmaking, textiles, drawing and mixed media, plus other original artworks and handmade items relevant to the theme. The call is open to anyone and there is no entry fee. The gallery takes 50% commission after VAT and manages all sales.
The exhibition runs from 21 November 2026 to 9 January 2027. Selected work must be delivered by appointment or post by 13 November 2026.
