About
Malton Sculpture Trail, now in its sixth year and funded by the North Yorkshire Mayor in partnership with Dalby Forest, invites artists to submit work for an outdoor trail along a 2 km accessible loop in the forest. Three-dimensional works must be suitable for outdoor display, freestanding or on 600 x 600 mm plinths; two-dimensional works are scanned and reprinted as exterior-grade prints. Sound and projection work are not accepted.
Submissions are rolling with no fixed deadline and are assessed on entry. Artists may submit up to four works per six-month period, and selected works are displayed for roughly six months after installation. Public liability insurance is required before submission.
Entry is free. An annual People's Choice Award of £200 is decided by public vote.
