About
The Glover Prize, run by the John Glover Society, is awarded for the best contemporary landscape painting of Tasmania. The landscape is understood broadly, including seascapes and cityscapes, and the work need not have been painted in Tasmania.
Any two-dimensional medium is accepted except photography, film and digitally rendered work without a painterly element. Works must be completed within the previous 12 months, not previously shown or entered elsewhere, and no larger than 190 x 190 cm. Entry is electronic only; finalists are exhibited in Evandale in March.
