About
Getxophoto, the image festival in Getxo, Basque Country, invites visual artists and photographers worldwide to its 21st edition open call on the theme Tide, exploring photography as a dynamic practice and collective action. Photography, video, actions, installations, digital art and other visual practices are welcome; projects may be submitted in English or Spanish.
Selected artists exhibit or install work during the festival, 27 May to 20 June 2027, with production costs covered, a EUR 500 participation fee, two nights' accommodation during the opening week, travel support up to EUR 150 and media coverage.
Applications are made through Picter by 3 November 2026. A submission fee is charged; the amount is not stated on the pages read.
