About
Fotofestiwal's Open Program (the former Grand Prix, reformulated in 2020) invites artists and collectives worldwide to submit photographic or other visual projects. Six projects are selected for solo presentations during the festival in Łódź. For the 2026 edition each selected artist received an artistic fee of EUR 1,000, an exhibition production budget of EUR 500, travel reimbursement up to EUR 300 and accommodation for the opening weekend.
The call for the 2027 Open Program is live on the organiser's site with a submission deadline of 30 November 2026 via Picter; results are expected in late January 2027 and the exhibitions open in Łódź in June 2027. Each artist may submit up to two projects; a fee of EUR 15 per project applies, with free submission possible in justified cases on request.
