About
The Artists Intensive Study Programme is Fire Station's nine-month curriculum of practice-based workshops, seminars, group critiques and lectures led by established artists, curators and theorists. The second edition runs from approximately 14 March to 12 November 2027 in Doha and brings together up to 25 emerging Qatari and international artists.
Applicants must be aged 18 to 35, from any country, with a clear artistic practice, English proficiency and a commitment to being physically present in Doha for the full programme. There is no tuition or application fee; international participants receive flights, accommodation and a monthly stipend for the nine months in Qatar.
Applications were accepted through the online portal from 1 August to 15 September 2026. Shortlisted candidates are interviewed in October–November 2026 (Zoom for international applicants) and notified in mid-December 2026.
