About
DIE GROSSE is Germany's largest artist-organised juried exhibition, held annually in Düsseldorf's Kunstpalast, the NRW-Forum and the Ehrenhof outdoor area. Artists apply with works for a jury selection; the exhibition includes prizes awarded during the run.
For the 2027 edition, applications are accepted exclusively online through the organiser's portal from 1 November 2026 (10:00) to 30 November 2026 (18:00); the portal link goes live on 1 November. The exhibition runs 4 July to 8 August 2027 with the opening on 3 July 2027. Fees, eligibility and prize details are in the Ausstellungsbedingungen PDF, which the organiser publishes mid-October.
