About
The Chianciano Biennale is an open-call international art exhibition and competition hosted by the Chianciano Art Museum in Chianciano Terme, Tuscany. The 9th edition exhibition runs 15-29 August 2026 with approximately 300 selected artists.
Artists at any career stage, worldwide, may submit; a Selection Committee reviews all works after the deadline. Submission costs EUR 40 per artwork and there are no further fees if selected. The 2026 call closed 31 May 2026.
Prizes total EUR 6,500: EUR 2,500 for best work and EUR 1,000 each for painting, sculpture/installation, work on paper and digital/photographic work. Ten artists are also selected for the London Art Biennale 2027 and five receive critiques from the International Confederation of Art Critics.
