The award package is $5,000, admission to the Review Santa Fe Photo Festival, access to professional development seminars and publication with LENSCRATCH. A parallel Project Development Grant ($5,000) supports works in progress, alongside the ME&EVE Award, Personal and Socially Engaged Awards, Environmental Award and Excellence in Teaching Award.
Applicants submit 15-20 images and a 400-word project statement. The 2026 cycle closed on 28 February 2026 with entry fees starting at $35 per category (plus $10 after the early deadline); the 2026 Project Launch juror was Diane Waggoner of the National Gallery of Art.
CENTER states that applications for the 2027 cycle will open in January 2027.
