About
ArtFields is an annual art competition and festival that transforms Lake City, South Carolina, into a gallery for two weeks each spring. For 2027, artists living in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia or West Virginia may submit one 2D or 3D work in any medium; up to 400 works with the highest juror ratings are exhibited in venues across town during the festival, 9 April to 1 May 2027.
The call for entries runs 1 September to 1 November 2026, with all submissions completed and paid (a $25 fee) by 11:59 pm on 1 November. Exhibiting artists compete for more than $100,000 in cash prizes decided by jurors and public vote.
