About
Artadia gives unrestricted, merit-based awards to visual artists in a rotating set of US cities: Los Angeles, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco Bay Area, Boston, Atlanta and Houston, plus the 21c Award. Each city has a one-month application window and a jury of curators selects finalists and awardees.
Applicants must have lived in the eligible county/counties for at least two consecutive years. The Houston call (1 October – 1 November 2026) is for artists resident in Harris County; other 2026 windows have closed (Atlanta 1 Sept – 1 Oct, Boston 15 Aug – 15 Sept, etc.).
Awardees receive $15,000 in unrestricted funds (the Marciano Artadia Award in Los Angeles is $25,000) plus lifelong access to Artadia's network and programmes.
