About
Art Omi: Artists is a residency on Art Omi's campus in Ghent, upstate New York, bringing together around 24 artists from around the world each summer for concentrated studio work, visits from critics, curators and gallerists, and a closing Open Studios.
It is open to visual, sound, performance and social-practice artists worldwide who have been professionally active for at least five years; self-taught artists are welcome. Selection is by competitive jury.
Residents receive lodging, a workspace and prepared meals at no cost; only travel is at the artist's expense. The 2027 session runs 17 June – 12 July 2027; applications opened 27 August and closed 14 September 2026 with a $15 fee.
